Beyond the Books Academy offers mentorship programs that empower youth and families with real-world skills. From our 12-month Youth Success Program to group and private mentorship, we focus on mindset, financial literacy, mental wellness, and building generational wealth through legacy-driven mentorship.

Youth Success Program

The Youth Success Program is our signature 12-month mentorship experience designed to help young people grow into confident, purpose-driven leaders. Each month, youth are guided through real-world topics that schools don’t teach — including financial literacy, personal and business credit, emotional intelligence, mental health, entrepreneurship, and generational wealth. This program goes beyond academics to focus on self-awareness, confidence, accountability, and legacy-building. Through interactive workshops, hands-on projects, and supportive mentorship, students gain the life tools they need to navigate adulthood, break cycles, and create lasting change for themselves and their families.

Community Outreach Impact Workshops

Our Community Outreach Impact Workshops are more than just events — they’re opportunities for transformation, healing, and empowerment, delivered directly to the heart of the community. We believe that real change starts with access, which is why we don’t wait for families to find us — we go to them. Whether it’s a local school, a neighborhood block party, a church, or a community center, we show up with purpose and passion to educate and uplift. These workshops are designed to deliver real-world knowledge in an approachable, relatable way. We cover topics that truly matter — financial literacy, budgeting, credit, mental health awareness, emotional wellness, entrepreneurship, trust building, and generational wealth. Each experience is interactive and rooted in culturally relevant, hands-on learning.

Legacy & Generational Wealth Building

Teaching families how to build, protect, and pass on more than money. This program is designed to help youth and their families understand the power of long-term planning, ownership, and the principles of legacy. We go beyond traditional financial education to explore how families can build real wealth — not just income — and pass it down for generations to come. Participants will learn the foundations of financial literacy, family goal setting, and wealth-building strategies, while being introduced to tools like trusts, business ownership, investing, and generational planning. We also explore the mindset shifts needed to break cycles of poverty and scarcity, and how to create family missions rooted in values, vision, and empowerment.

Group Mentorship and 1:1 Private Sessions

At Beyond the Books Academy, we offer both Group Mentorship and 1:1 Private Sessions to meet students where they are on their journey. Our group sessions create a supportive community where youth learn together, grow together, and inspire one another through shared experiences and real-world lessons in mindset, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and legacy building. For those seeking a more personalized approach, our private mentorship sessions offer one-on-one guidance tailored to individual goals — whether that’s launching a business, improving credit, shifting mindset, or building a family legacy. Both options are designed to empower, educate, and elevate every participant with mentorship that transforms lives.
